The 13th edition of SPA-CE will continue with its original concept, bringing you a first-hand experience of the host destination. The main purpose of the trade show is for the most important providers of spa and wellness services from European countries to meet with travel organisers, tourist agencies, representatives of insurance companies and other potential buyers of their services.


Exhibitors from natural spas and thermal spas from Central Europe, wellness hotels, resorts and centres, providers of wellness services, tourist destinations and providers of cosmetic and medical services & equipment.


Hosted buyers from tourist agencies offering spa services, tour operators, organisers of incentive trips, representatives of insurance companies, healthcare institutions, medical travel providers and others.

The SPA-CE trade show has a long tradition. It has been held in different locations since 2009. Previous host destinations include Laško, Zreče, Sarvar, Radenci, Heviz, Ptuj, Rogaška Slatina, Portorož and Moravci.

One of the definitions of spa and wellness tourism is “tourism of well-being”, which is gaining importance all across Europe. In this modern world of rapid changes, natural spas and wellness centres are an ideal choice for escaping from everyday stress and realising the desired peace of mind, strengthening life energy and preserving our health. An important position is held by the tradition of rehabilitation and curative spa tourism, which is also a component part of the offer of natural spas.

Unlike exhibiting at various fairs, the core of the SPA-CE event is a series of pre-scheduled appointments between providers and the buyers of services. The event is not open to the general public and the stress is on optimum utilisation of time.


When bringing together demand and offer, bringing together the right people, is the key of success. SPA-CE brings together spas, wellness centers and health resorts and selected tour operators and meeting planners so all future e-mails or phone calls also have a face behind the contact person.

Exhibitors make acquaintance with selected hosted buyers through the online system where they can review, select and arrange appointments with hosted buyers. By doing that the exhibitors and hosted buyers establish contact already before the actual meeting.

At the show, the contact is strengthened by a personal meeting in an unhurried environment.
